Filling in between the screeds

Grout should be placed between the screeds, then a layer of floor screeding material should be spread between the screeds. The grout and floor screed can then merged together.

The floor screeding materials should be a couple of millimetres above the screeds, then it can be ruled in using a flooring rule. The flooring rule is used to fill in larger gaps, where as a trowel can be used to fill in the smaller gaps.

The surface should be checked to make sure it is level after it has been ruled in by laying a rule across the floor diagonally and putting the level on top.
