Job Types

Professionals are generally of graduate level (i.e. people who have a degree from university), and may have one of the following types of jobs on the contruction industry.

• architect - someone who designs and draws the building or structure; the head of the team
• structural engineer - someone who oversees the strength and structure of the building
• surveyor - someone who checks the land for suitability to build on
• service engineer - someone who plans the services needs within the building, for example, gas, electricity and water supplies.
