Float the area with your devil float to key and close in.

Plastering

Prior to applying the 1st coat of finish you should have cut back the edges and scraped the surface with the edge of your trowel Also you should have removed any excess float coat from the good surface with the edge of your trowel.

Smooth out the first coat and cut back any overspill to the good area Apply the second coat and again cut back any overspill.

Cut out any overspill to the electric boxes at this point as some materials set very hard.

Flick water to the surface and trowel out Using the tip of your water brush Brush around the edge of the repair and trowel out Leave for a few minutes and dry trowel.
