On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT)
The On-Site Assessment is perfect for:
- Anyone working in the industry who needs to get a CSCS card
- Individuals who do not want to be away from the job and want to avoid downtime
- Those with years of experience but no formal qualifications
- People who want to work hard to prepare for the assessment process
How is the On-Site Assessment run?
Whilst you are working on site you will be visited by your assessor who will guide you through each part of the process, observe you working and provide the highest levels of support until you complete your qualification.
Candidates may gain qualifications/certification in the following occupation areas:
- Roofing occupations - BUFR, RST, RSC, etc.
- Scaffolding (additional assessment will be required to get a CISRS card)
- Plant Maintenance and Operation (additional assessment will be required to get a CPCS card)
- Construction - drains, kerbs, concrete, groundworks, steelfixing, highways, etc.
- Wood occupations - carpentry and joinery, formwork, shopfitting, etc.
- Levels 3, 4, 6 and 7 in Leadership and Management
- Tunnelling and Underground construction
- Insulation Boarding Treatments (IBT)
- Plastering occupations - interiors, drylining, relocatables (Other occupations may be available)
Entry requirements and support
There are no specific entry requirements. Candidates just have to be working on site within their specified occupation and needing certification or proof of competence.
Once you get your card you can start working towards the next qualification level, or even a supervisory or management role.
