Backing Plaster
Backing plasters are used to bring ceilings and walls plumb, level and flat. Before any finish plasteres are used, backgrounds should be checked to see if they need floating first.
Plastering over brick or thermal blocks will require the use of Thistle Hardwall. This will ensure the background is made flat, level and the suction is controlled to prevent finish plasters from drying too quick.
Plastering over concrete low suction backgrounds will require the use of Thistle Bonding Coat. This will ensure the background is made flat, level.
