Yes. Creating an account and using the community feed, groups, marketplace, directory and PFX Academy is completely free on both iPhone and Android.
PFX+ is built for professional plasterers, apprentices, and DIY enthusiasts who want to learn proper technique, discover tools and materials, find work, or hire a trusted, verified plasterer.
Open the Directory in the app and search by trade service (e.g. rendering, skimming, Venetian plaster) and area. Verified profiles show credentials, portfolios, testimonials and availability, so you can contact a plasterer directly.
The marketplace lets you list and browse tools, materials and job opportunities by category. You can message a listing owner directly in-app to arrange a sale or enquire about work.
The PFX Academy is a searchable library of plastering guides and tutorials written and curated by the Plastering FX team, covering tools, preparation, boarding, skimming, rendering and specialist finishes such as Venetian plaster.
Both. Tradespeople use PFX+ to learn, network, buy and sell, and find work. Customers use the Directory to search for verified, local plastering professionals for their project.
Plasterers can add credentials, insurance details, and a portfolio of past work to their Directory profile, and eligible profiles display a verification badge to help customers find trusted professionals.
PFX+ is available as a native app for iOS (iPhone) and Android. You can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
