You must be at least 16 years old to use PFX+. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
PFX+ provides a community feed, groups, a marketplace and job board, and the PFX Academy training library for plasterers and DIY enthusiasts. Features may be added, changed or removed at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Service.
You retain ownership of any photos, videos, posts, comments, messages, listings and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant PFX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute it within the Service for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have all necessary rights to post it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or applicable law.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
PFX+ provides a platform for users to list and discover tools, materials, services and job opportunities. We are not a party to any transaction, agreement or contract between users, and we do not verify the accuracy of listings, the identity of users, or the quality, safety or legality of items or services offered. Any transaction you enter into with another user is at your own risk, and you are responsible for exercising appropriate caution and judgement.
The Service, including its design, branding, logos, text (excluding User Content) and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to Plastering FX Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase for data storage and authentication, and Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration and push notifications. Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant.
The Service, including any training content in the PFX Academy, is provided for general informational and community purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for complying with all applicable building regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards in your work. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plastering FX Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, User Content, or any transaction or interaction with other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from them or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
